Player Retirements

Does anyone know when the following players retire?

1. Matt Ryan
2. Andre Woodson

I am looking at starting a new career, and want a QB that will play as many years as possible.

Any other players that you know about, please post as well.

thanks,

It'll vary when players when retire, but there's a couple things you can count on.

1. Players over the age of 35 have a good chance to retire.
2. The more demanding position will retire sooner i.e. linemen.
3. Team Chemistry has a big effect on preventing players from retiring.
4.Less demanding positions like K and QB will tend to play longer.

Well, you can only play 15 seasons, so Ryan and Woodson may retire (they'd be 36? 38?). But the 2008 draft doesn't have great QBs (unless you're running a scheme with Josh Johnson), so I'd take one in 2009. Either way, they'd likely be with you for your whole career.
