I'll post my analysis of what I see later, but I believe this is a true and accurate representation of the personality variations found in HC09. If anyone finds mistakes, please post'em here so they can be corrected.
One table/sheet (Analysis) of the Excel document involved the creation of a fairly complex COUNTIFS statement that didn't translate from the program I use (Apple Numbers '09). If someone else wants to take a crack at re-engineering it in Excel proper, IM me and I'll give you the details.
Some quick-and-easy notes:
More later. For now, enjoy!

Some quick-and-easy notes:
- There are ten personality trait-slots per type.
- Two personalities have only nine distinct traits, because two slots are duplicates: Lone Wolf is doubly Enterprising, and Ally is doubly Dependable.
- The most common traits are: Competitive, Expressive, Loyal, Patient, and Team Player, each represented in six personalities.
- The least common traits are: Stingy and Stubborn, represented by only one personality each (Lone Wolf and Headliner respectively).
- The Enthusiast type mentioned in the strategy guide was changed into the Optimist shortly before release. Many of the personality traits were changed, and at least a couple were dropped entirely.
- Some traits seem (at least to me) oriented purely towards approval ratings. Others deal with contract negotiation and coach retention. A few impact how likely a player is to make a public scene and hurt your public approval rating.
More later. For now, enjoy!
