Why doesn't someone start a dynasty?

I really enjoy reading them but I think I have seen all the good ones, I would start one but A my xbox is broken and B I supersim all the games because I want to be able to run the ball.

Starting one isn't the problem-keeping it going is. It takes me 1 1/2 hrs to play the game and write down the box score, 1 hour to post it. Check the Coaching Dynasties and see how many dynasties have managed to go 5 years. I'll give you a hint-not a lot. I've started 5 or 6 myself, and my current one will go the 5 years. It's just very difficult to find the time.

Right now I'm playing one that's up to 2014 - I been busy just plugging in stats on Microsoft Word, planning to upload it all in a few weeks.

I figure it would take a lot of time, when my xbox is fixed I plan on doing one.

I saw your request and figured what the heck, I'll do it. My saints franchise is getting a bit boring anyway. So last night I started a Vikings franchise. I'll start a new thread when I finish preseason in a couple hours.

Thanks man, in this time of not having Head Coach to play a dynasty to read would really help. Do they still sell it for computer?

Re: Why doesn't someone start a dynasty?

started one today with the falcons. looking to draft a lot but somewhat tank the first year to get a high pick in next years draft and really take off. thinking of a few directions to go with the draft....

1. draft mcfadden and pass on michael turner in FA, use lower picks to upgrade O-line and secondary. sign FA QB veteran to start one year.

2. draft high caliber O-lineman (Jake long if i can get him, if not than trade down for clady or someone) sign Michael turner in FA and sign veteran QB for a year

3. draft matt ryan and sign michael turner (leaning away from this because 1. ryan is overrated in this game and 2. dont want it to be too much like what really happened. want some variety)

will most likely go with 1 or 2, then somewhat tank the season and get a high pick in the next draft, hopefully get a good qb like english or something. i wont get to into the first season, especially with posting, just how the draft went, some FA signings, and my final record. by tomorrow i shouuld be in year 2 since ima sim mostly everything, which is when ill start posting. wish me luck!

I've found that although he is quite effective, Turner gets injured way to much and limits your outside run game, also forcing you to get a 3rd down back.
