NFL Head Coach 06 HCSettings.zip

After playing NFL Head Coach 09 for so long I decided to go back to the game that got me loving Sports business management simulation games, and I can't tell you how much fun I get out of playing NFL Head Coach on the PC.

My Question for those who still play NFLHC PC version, does anyone still have the HCSettings.zip that I can download to my computer? I've looked all over the internet since football-freaks.com went down and I can't find it. I'd love a copy for my game. If I can a copy, I'd like to start another FBlog for this version with the Seahawks.

Also, doesn't this application allow you to export the game log files so you can view them later, and such? If so, where can I find them?

Here is the settings zip. As far as the game log exports go I'm not sure. I think I've heard of something like that, but I don't really remember much more than that. Sorry.

Not sure if anyone knows this but I keep getting an MFC71.dll cannot be found error. Updated Windows, redownloaded the program, etc. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

I must of had the same problem because I had these two zipped files with the HCSettings zip.

For windows 64-bit you put them in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\

For windows 32-bit you put them in C:\Windows\System32\
This is for windows vista and windows 7.

I believe I had found them from a webpage called dll-files.com. They even have some of the dll file specs and installation guides.

hahahaha, you should have never showed this log! all the sliders at 99 for human and 0 for cpu? hahahaha, in 2 min quarters you won 63-0? cool that this game has that, but come on man!

I play the 2006 Head Coach and the scores come up zero to zero. I am using the xbox and I have tried new head coach games and it does the same thing. Anyone have this issue or could you tell me what the problem might be?

If you are getting the "missing msvcr71.dll" message here is what you do.


Go to msvcr71.dll C:\Program Files (x86)\EA SPORTS\NFL Head Coach usually


Copy the msvrcr71.dll file from there and paste it into

C:\Windows\SysWOW64

and is that doesn't work copy and paste it into
C:\Windows\System32

Attached are the zip files for the sliders. The easiest way I found was to simply right click the mfc and msv zip folders one at a time after it downloads, and Extract To Downloads or Documents wherever.


The mfc file or the msv file will show up along with a readme. Dont worry about the read me. Extract the other file, the mrc or msv you havent extracted yet and extract that to the same place.


Copy both the mfc71.dll file, and the MSVCP71.dll, and

go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder and paste.


Go extract your HCSettings folder and click HCSettings, should work like a charm.


Load your save from the "NFL Head Coach" folder usually found in your Documents folder. You must have already started a game already. Go into the folder go into "Saved" and click your save. Wala
