This game is fantastic. I play it more then madden. But here is the thing. I have a short attention span. I cant play a whole game without getting bored. Do you have any ideas

cut the quarters to 7 mins max or supersim the first half and only play the second half. That will help you get through a whole game.

Definitely play 15 minute quarters just for the stats. Switching back and forth between Supersim and gameplay should break up the monotony. I usually just taken over in the red zone or after a turnover.

Re: I am new. I love this game.

A full game, played right, should take around an hour. I too get a little tired by the end of some games.

What I'll usually do is one of the two:

1. play the first two quarters out, and if the result is a blowout either way, I'll supersim the rest of the game.

2. play all the defense and supersim all the offense, or vice versa, play all the offense and supersim all the D.

You have to know that the game does use different algorithms in normal play, supersim, and regular sim. your players stats/performance will be different depending on which mode you're using.

Be sure to run plays you know will stay inbounds. Going out stops the accel clock

Re: I am new. I love this game.

Sim the games and stick to GM'ing.

Other than that, build a team that can run the ball. I once had a drive that took up nearly a whole quarter. It was 14 minutes, 27 seconds long. I had to kick a FG in the redzone. It was 16 plays long including the kick.

I found what I wrote-
HB runs for 4
HB runs for 7
HB runs for 6
HB loses 3
QB scrambles for 7
HB loses 3
QB throws for 11
FB runs for 7
HB loses 1
QB throws for 30
HB runs for 2
QB throws for 12
QB sneaks for .5 yards
QB gets sacked
Drop
Field Goal

Skarecrow made some good suggestions.

Supersim/sim the games if you love the front office side of thigns (as I do) and not so much the gameplay (it's not that great). I like to supersim, and I call plays at times but just square through it at times also.
