Physical Vs. Intangible Traits

For certain attributes it's easy to know which ones fall under "physical" and "intangible." For example, obviously, SPD, AGL, ACL, STR, and JMP are the former and ones like MCV, ZCV, AWR, PRC, BCV are the latter. But there are a few I'm not so sure about, so I figured I'd see what you guys think the following would fall under. Are all of thes intangibles?

Elusiveness = ?
Stiff Arm = ?
Trucking = ?
Juke Move = ?
Spin Move = ?
Spectacular Catch = ?
Catch in Traffic = ?
Release = ?
Tackle = ?
Hit Power = ?
Press = ?

Re: Physical Vs. Intangible Traits

Good question, to me Physical vs. Intangible is close but different as well.

Elusiveness would probably fall under Physical considering that has something to do with quickness.

Stiff Arm would fall under the Intangible ratings, I think intangible is also skill.

Trucking, Intangible

Juke Move, Intangible

Spin Move, Intangible

Spectacular Catch, Intangible

Release, Physical

Tackle, Intangible

Hit Power, Intangible

Press, Intangible.

Here's Ebongreen's post on this, from August of '11 (this response in his thread was a month after your initial query to him, picker19):

Re: Physical Vs. Intangible Traits

From my observations, Spectacular Catch is Physical.

Re: Physical Vs. Intangible Traits

I'm finding Hit Power very hard to progress. My DT Duane Russell still hasn't gone from 40 to 41, and I've had him for 5 years. DLC and DC had dev 5 for physical and intangible, and my HC has 4 for intangible and 3 for physical. I don't know which HP is, but let me know your observations on this.

Yes, I've seen the same thing...also with Press. Certain attributes are really hard to grow. This is why I'm trying to understand physical vs. intangible to know if I should focus on physical or intangible coach training skills. As you know, some attributes require 1k or 2k points to grow, yet others only need 500-750. So, I was wondering if the number required helps identify which one is which, but can't confirm it.

Re: Physical Vs. Intangible Traits

I think certain attributes are set at lower ones because they better fit the position more than whether they are intangible or physical. I personally believe any attribute that is based on a positions job like press is intangible. Athletic to me is speed strength acc agility jump and simple things like that.

Things like catching ball carrier vision, tackle though would be intangible because theyre techniques you need to learn to play the position. Something like hit power/impact block would be physical because its based on strength, not technique. Something like blocksheddding or blocking strength/footwork would be intangible, again because they're techniques.
