Re: 2014 Dolphins GM Career

Sounds rough man, you might need to jump teams, that is IF you can lose enough games to do so. My thoughts would be to resign nobody next season. Let Tanny walk and rebuild with your house rules. That would make it more difficult. Handcuff yourself a little.

Re: 2014 Dolphins GM Career

Rookie Report Cards:
I forgot to do these after the season, so before we come to this year's draft let's first have a look at what I did last year...

Round 1:
no picks

Round 2:
OT Colin Longacre (89/90) - moved to LG, looks like a very good player - A
LB Corey McCants (77/83) - got lost in the LB depth, not more than a backup - D
CB Malek Minor (71/82) - raw, injury prone, bust - F
FB Todd Marino (87/88) - can be good at 3 positions (HB, FB, TE), great weapon - A

Round 3:
WR Horace Tucker (75/86) - very raw but showed some improvement - C-

Round 4:
OT Ali Price (90/91) - starter at RT, steal - A+

Round 5:
FS Stephen Copeland (81/84) - good backup, could start for other teams - B-

Round 6:
TE Jaime Turner (80/83) - good backup, could start for other teams - B-

Round 7:
QB Matthew Mullen (80/91) - beat out Jared May for the #2 QB job, has talent but is injury prone - A

Now let's have a look what I did this year...

The Draft:
My favorite player in the class, Michigan WR TJ Nunn went #1 overall to the Bills (div. rivals - damn...). I did some wheeling and dealing and ended up with these picks:

Round 1:
#26: WR Mike Fitzgerald, Notre Dame - will start in the slot and might replace his older brother Larry some day
#32: TE Rondell Mabry, Miami - too good to pass on, can do it all

Round 2:
OT Steven Reese, USC - BPA
CB Bobby Bailey, Liberty - I'm trying to groom a young CB again

Round 3:
C/G Mike Krula, UCLA - good interior lineman, OL depth

Round 4:
WR Dominique Hix, Cincinnati - talented, big WR; might struggle to get playing time

Round 6:
RB Nick Bradley, Richmond - some depth at RB
TE Martin Taylor, Delaware St. - will be our 3rd TE & Special Teams standout

Round 7:
DE Curtis Rooney, UNLV - speedy edge rusher, depth at DE

Re: 2014 Dolphins GM Career

I loved me some Marino. Such a good weapon on offense. They have one in the Zazzali draft

What's his name? Just curious, I had a former game on Zazzali, want to know if I know him or even had him...

Re: 2014 Dolphins GM Career

He was in the first draft. He is a HB but can play fb, TE and WR with ease. Think Brian Leonard with HB speed and OL strength.

Season 4 - Preseason:
We went 4-0 in the preseason. Backup RB Lamar Miller and DT Jared Odrick will miss the first few games of the season due to injury but both are expected back soon.

We traded LB Dannell Ellerbe (86/88) to the Giants for a 2nd rounder.
We signed FS Earl Thomas (87/89) to a 1-yr contract worth 5.6 mil. He's very injury prone but is expected to start at FS if he can stay healthy.

Season 4 - Opening Day Roster:
