Just getting HC09. Is patch/roster available anywhere?

Well, I loaded the game up while online but it doesn't ask for a title update. Any idea where I might find this? Thanks.

The servers are long gone for the game, you'll need to manually upload them.

If you're talking about the roster update, you need to start the game from the pre-season not the off-season.

Honestly, I'm not so worried about the rosters...I'm ok with the launch rosters, esp for my Redsk....errr....the Burgandy and Gold. What I am referring to is the patch as a lot was patched in the one release, it appears.

Patches are not tied to any specific game's servers. I've been prompted numerous times to download patches for games whose servers were "long gone" as you say.

You are right as far as roster updates go though.
