Cowboys-Parcells Have not made any big moves.

Hmmm...do we have a trend here. Parcells and his guys all being patient.

2 of the 3 you named were in the superbowl, thus they don't need to make big moves.

you can look at more than just last year. Look at the off-season prior. Pats got Harrison pretty late, Colvin...didn't he have a season ending injury? Ted Washington...he probably was the only major signing.

Panthers, hmmm...Steven Davis wasn't signed right away and they didn't break the bank.

The fact that they went to the Super Bowl doesn't hold much water. Everybody needs to improve no matter what.

yeah, but look at belicheck letting those guys leave.

It would be stupid to get in bidding wars for average players right now. Better to get decent players cheaper later on.

Plus, they are looking into Duce Staley.

They've had some talks with Winfield's agent.

They've brought in Berry and that Tackle from the colts.

So they aren't exactly sitting on their hands.

I hope they sign both those guys. And maybe some corner. Winfield is a dream at this point. But if they do sign a cb, like taylor, they had better keep Edwards, if the price isn't rediculous.

Edwards isn't that bad of a corner. And he would be a pretty good third cb.

Rumors say that Parcells doesn't like Edwards.

Taylor has expressed interest in Dallas. I didn't know he was from Longview, TX over in East Texas.

We're running a marathon here guys, not a sprint. We have 17 million in cap room. That doesn't mean we have to spend it this year. There will be free agency again next spring.

Re: Cowboys War Room II

from what I've heard, the cowboys would be a long shot at getting him though.

But after hearing all this 'no blowing money' talk from dallas, I get the impression that they'd be willing to spend for Winfield.

Bobby Taylor is the pride of Longview High school. My team beat his in the playoffs way back in the day.

Mario Edwards is a bum. Some players too much benefit-of-the doubt. Last year it was that other bum, Woody Danzler, that people were sad to see leave.
