just a few questions.

#1- what kind of contracts are these draft choices looking for
#2- do you think thomas would agree to a lifetime contract if he proves hes an elite LT ?
#3- do you think the browns will fire crennel and make serious offer to weiss in the next few years?

What do you all think of the whiney bi$%h Shaffer? He wants out now that Thomas is here. I'd like to think he'd be a team player and move to RG and eventually to RT after Tucker psychs out again.

I can understand him wanting to stay at tackle (its the most high profile o-line position, which has to count for something right?), but he would just be an offensive guard getting paid tackle money. What is the problem with that?

Unless of course he is thinking about his next contract and thinks he can become a premier tackle and get paid more later.

I say we move Tucker to guard and Shaffer to the other tackle spot. If he doesn't like that, then find him a home somewhere else.

I may be on the band wagon. The Quinn pick has me wanting to jump aboard. Weis isn't leaving ND, Thomas will never get a lifetime contract, and look at last years picks at those spots plus a little bit for Thomas and Quinn probably.
