Did you happen to see Michael Turner get hurt on Saturday?
**** Eric Parker. The sooner they cut him the better.

Turner I guess sprained an ankle. I had heard it was a high ankle sprain, which is bad news.

Hate to say it, but you're wrong. When healthy (and not being made to run up the middle straight at defensive linemen), Sproles is a weapon in his own right. Even then, I'd rather have him as the returner than Eric Parker, Michael Turner, or Antonio Cromartie.

The "big" cuts, if you may, are Lekkerkerker and Jue. That makes Weddle the primary backup to both spots if he isn't starting.

I'm happy to see both Siler and Waters make the team.

Can't say that I am sad to see Jue go.

Any word on Sproles from the locals?

Plus, what are your thoughts on the upcoming game with the Patriots?

No word on Sproles. I bet he doesn't play this week.

I think the Chargers will move the ball, and I don't think the Pats will be able to run the ball effectively. My worry is their strength is at WR and I believe the Chargers weakness is in the secondary. Key will be the Chargers ability to rush the passer.

Well this will be a good test for Moss. Also, the Pats have a pretty good running back. I think this game could go either way.

At what point does AJ Smith become accountable.

I most of the AJ worshippers are no longer posting.

AJ Smith is accountable for releasing Donnie Edwards and partially accountable for Marty Schottenheimer (Schottenheimer IMO would have stayed if only one of the coordinators left). Like I said in another thread, we're seriously hurting at coverage at linebacker. I can see Cooper replacing Godfrey easily, but two linebackers with no experience? I cringed at that move from the day they wanted to trade him.

It's kind of like when the Chargers let go of Rodney and Junior. This team is a mess and it's time to press the panic button.

Maybe after this season, Spanos should let AJ do the draft, then promptly fire him right after, the same **** they pulled off on Schottenheimer. His attitude has both helped and harmed this team. Norv also looks like the beginning of another Gilbride/Jones/Riley era.
