GO BIG BLUE!!!

we have so much depth its crazy.
think about this........

next draft, 2009, we will have 3 of the top 64 picks in the draft AND osi comes back!!!
what do we "need"?
we are solid across the board. we will draft even more depth and stay away from free agency.
ALL HAIL JERRY REESE......

anyone wanna bet we draft another de/dt with one of those top 3 picks?? lol

What position do you guys want to draft this year? I hope we move up in the draft since we have the Saints picks and trade up for an OLB like Rey Maualuga or James Laurinaitis the son of Road Warrior Animal.

Linebacker would be a good choice, and both of those guys are studs.

Reese should win Executive of the Year. Guy has made all the right moves -- well, aside from caving and giving Plax that new contract -- since he's taken over for Accorsi.

Well we took another L in the season. 11-2. Why were losing to two teams that are in upheaval is beyond me but hopefully this is another "cold water in the face" game to get the team back on track. I think yesterday was a fluke though since our receivers couldn't catch a cold, they were dropping everything. Once Hixon dropped that sure TD pass I think the "if Burress was here" syndrome spread through the team.

In the words of David Diehl after the Bucs playoff game last year "Off to Dallas!!!"

Maualuga is 260 pounds - that's not an outside linebacker.

And I'd stay far, far away from Laurinaitis.

Wow, things are really taking a turn for the worse. Hopefully Jacobs is the answer. 11 and 3. Would sound great any other season except the way and when 2 of those 3 went down.
Can we get it done against the Carolina Panthers?

The answer is a resounding YES. Giants pull it out in overtime with Earth , Wind and Fire in full effect. Ward lit up the Panther's Dline when it counted and Jacobs put the finishing touch over the goalline to secure it. Although everyone will be praising Ward I guarantee he's thankful as hell to have Jacobs tenderizing that line for him.

EDIT: I don't where the Giants stand money-wise but it would be in Eli's best interest to give back a little moola if it meant keeping Jacobs. I know Burress just help them free up a whole bunch of cash so......

WELL IT'S PLAYOFF TIME!!!
Giants secured it all. 1st place in the NFC, homefield throughout, and a first round bye. Normally I would rather have the squad keep playing as not to get rusty but some key injuries need to be addressed and only time can help them so now they get a little time to heal up or better manage the pain.

It's good to see that the Giants didn't suffer the usual Superbowl hangover and have put them in position to try to get through the playoffs.
