Collins will be put on IR due to his neck injury.

That really hurts our defense. Hopefully Peprah can step in and play like he did last year.

I seriously thought it was a typo when I seen Collins and IR in the same sentence, only to go on Packersnews.com and see the samething on there.

Some observations on yesterdays game.

1. Our run defense is pretty darn good. I know it's the Bears O-line we were dealing with, but our run D has looked pretty good through the first three weeks.

2. Our pass defense still needs some work. Looks like Peprah's good year last year starting for Burnett was a fluke. Morgan Burnett really impresses me. I know the two picks were primarily from bad throws, but he put himself in good position on both of them. I like this guy and think he's going to be very good.

3. Grant actually looked better than Starks for once. Maybe the Bears were more concerned about Starks and focused a bit more on him and forgot about Grant, but I like that Grant actually got some decent gains for us.

4. Jermichael Finley is a monster. There's just no way of saying it better. This guy is a special, special player and a matchup nightmare. I hope we can resign him and turn D.J. Williams into something similar. I think we may just have a top 3 if not the best receiving corps in the league.

5. That being said, James Jones didn't look too good out there again. I know he's fairly upset he's not being used as much, but if he keeps performing like he has, then he deserves less attention.

6. Randall Cobb looked great again. Another guy I think has a lot of potential in this offense, and yet another WR we took in the second round or later that looks great.

7. Our offensive line didn't do too bad against Peppers. Clifton had a hold or two and had a lot of false starts which hurt us, but I think we did a pretty good job of slowing him down.

Also doesn't look like Bulaga's injury is too bad. Grant was also injured as was Brad Jones but neither look severe.
