But I’m speaking about exposure. Cobb probably the most but that’s part because he played in the SEC and part because he was also good as well.

Anyway, I’m thinking we’ll be rolling into the season with Adams, Funch, Lazard, MVS and EQ.
I agree with this.

Mostly wanted to add that the only reason I knew who Greg Jennings when the Packers drafted him was because I attended a UVA vs Western Michigan game in 2005 and Jennings caught literally everything thrown his way lol. The guy finished the game with 16 catches for 150+ IIRC.

Anyway, I hated the Packers draft. Not that I hate the individual prospects or the value of where they were taken, but rather I see the Packers preparing for the post-Aaron Rodgers future by building a Rams / Titans style two-tight-ends Establish-The-Run™ play-action team, and I hate it.

Packers close out with 4 of their last 6 games at home.

And of course, they get the usual 5 primetime games year on SNF/MNF/TNF.

Stopped in to eat some crow.

I was outraged when the Pack passed on Derwin James. Thought he was a great many things this D was missing.

… looks like his knee isn't going to hold up to sustain what was a great start to his career.

So, nice pass, Gutey.

They ended up taking Jaire that year too, right?

Jaire is a star. I think he cements himself as one of the league's best at the position this season.

Tough break for Lane Taylor. That had the makings of a nice comeback story.

.. this seems like the classic letdown game. Red hot start, team limping in. Hopefully they keep the pedal on the floor and prove me wrong.

Re: Official Green Bay Packers Thread

Pretty impressive win, without 2 of their top 5 players.

LOVE the offense right now.

Trying not to go overboard, still don't think they have enough to take home hardware in January. But its hard not to be excited at this point.

Re: Official Green Bay Packers Thread

Lazard is dealing with a core muscle issue. NOT good.

This offense is thin enough as it is. He had been a critical peice of the early success so far.

Hope this doesn't require surgery. This thing could go off the rails in a hurry.

He had surgery today, out indefinitely.
