    Official St. Louis Rams Thread

Well, I haven't seen one yet. Maybe that means I'm the only Rams fan on here(or at least the only one who will admit it:wink
Anyway if there's Rams fans here, lets hope for at least a decent year in 2009!

Agreed he just doesn't get the job done. I don't know what Martz sees in him...Bulger just isn't a winner.

Lol... we'll never make the playoffs with the talent surrounding him. I'm not saying Bulger is great or anything, but it's not all his fault.

Mike Martz made the right decision some seasons back when he went with Bulger over my favourite player of all-time - Kurt Warner. Sad, but true. Warner was not the Warner of old (or Warner of now) and Bulger gave us the best chance AT THE TIME of winning. That's what Martz saw in him.

Moving forward, Bulger has up until the last few season, always looked like an NFL QB. The numbers don't lie. 2004 to 2007 he was a top five QB.

With the team, Bulger has struggled. Most QB's would struggle in the mess he has had to deal with. Not a excuse, a fact. I think he will remain our QB this season and tutor our QB of the future next season (Bradford hopefully).

Re: Official St. Louis Rams Thread

LB Will Witherspoon traded to the Eagles for rookie WR Brandon Gibson and a 2010 5th round draft pick.

WTF? Unless someone in this organization has a man crush on this Brandon Gibson kid, I think this is a terrible trade. Witherspoon has been one of the only consistent members of this team in the past couple of years. Again, I'm not sure if there's something we don't know, but from where it stands this trade was stupid.

Let's bump this thread on the first day of the new decade! Hopefully a decade that will signal the return to prominence of the St Louis Rams

I want Ndamukong Suh and Tim Tebow (lol). Anything less is a disappointing draft.

No, please no. I agree with Ndamukong Suh but not Tebow. I'd be really pissed if we don't get a wide out this year. I'm a GT fan and would love to have Demaryius Thomas(if he goes pro) as he put up big numbers in the flexbone of all offenses.

I'd also like to have Brandon Carter. As he did well against Suh this year and is a RG which we need. Also, very far fetched here but I'd like to get Jonathan Dwyer from GT (if he goes pro) as a backup for Steven Jackson but I highly doubt it.

Maybe pick up a QB in one of the later rounds. Colt McCoy if he's there in the 4th or 5th.

Haha, I don't even want to see a QB drafted. A rookie QB isn't going to help us any, just stick with one of the 3 we already have.. preferably Keith Null.

I think we're good at wideout, honestly, as long as we don't have any injuries. Avery, Robinson, Gibson and Amendola aren't that bad, at least for now.

Agree with you at the RG, we need to replace that *explicit* Richie Incognito. I also see needs at OLB and CB.

Yeah, we do need to get help for Laurinatis. Imagine if he had a OLB to help. Kinda mad we traded Witherspoon as I thought he could really help him progress. As for the WR yes they're good but I might be wrong in getting one in the draft. We need to get a veteran to teach them.

Also I agree with CB we have Ron Bartell who I think could be a good CB. Maybe Perrish Cox out of OKLA ST. if he's there in the later rounds.

Yep, kinda wish we still had Holt, but honestly he isn't worth the contract space he would've taken up had we kept him. I honestly think that Spagnuolo, who is a very defensive minded coach, will not pass up on Suh. He saw the value of a solid D-Line in New York (cue "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z), and I doubt that even with Carriker and Long not living up to their 1st round picks, he'll go for Suh. I think the Rams can be one of those stand-up defensives with an effective running game, with just a few changes.

OT: Thoughts on B-Marshall? I think he'd help out alot.. only question would be his behavior.
