Big Dawg, Remi Ayodole, agrees to deal with Minnesota Viking.
Interesting. I wonder if they are still in the mix for DT Brandon Mebane.

and finally some rookie signings:Saints Agree to Terms with 7th Round Pick DE Greg Romeus and Nate Bussey.
Saints sign third round pick CB Johnny Patrick

Re: 2010 Saints

The Saints will receive S Jonathon Amaya as part of the compensation in the Reggie Bush trade, ESPN is reporting.
Wow. Who got the better of that trade?

UPDATE: Saints reached agreement with OT Jermon Bushrod on a two-year deal. Now let's hope we get Jenkins.

Jimmy Wilkerson is headed to Seattle.
Usama Young is a Cleveland Brown. Official on Friday, according to CBS Rapid Reports.
Mark Ingram will be #28 Now.

Re: 2010 Saints

Finally!! Cameron Jordan is signed.
Too bad that this means someone is going to be cut since they're over the 90 man limit.

Re: 2010 Saints

Interested to see Gregg Williams with the weapons he has on D now, he's run some 3-4 in the past but more of to throw people off. Now we have 2 guys in Shaun Rogers and Franklin who could be legit NT in some 3-4 packages.

Re: 2010 Saints

I wonder if he's still planning of throwing in the 46 Def.? The Saints do have the personnel for it. And like the 3-4 they use, it would definitely create havoc & confuse the opposition.
Either way, I'm stoked about how, so far, Payloo* has built this year's team.

*For those who didn't know: S.Payton & M.Loomis

Re: 2010 Saints

i just found this: Gregg Williams via @FletcherMackel: "Patrick Willis is crying in his milk because we got Aubrayo Franklin."

PROS: GW raved about the progress of Jr. Galette & Pat Robinson. Also high on Johnny Patrick, adding, "He was allergic to contact at Louisville"

CONS: Alex Barron joins the Saints NO!!!!!!!

Big game vs. GB. Let's hope the Saints start off with a W. I'm not too worried with the Offense even though L. Moore will sit out this one.
As long as there's a balance in the Offense & the O-Line holds up enough for D. Brees to orchestrate; the Saints will put up points by the bunches. That being said...

IMO, Saints Keys to Victory:
Spoiler

WHO DAT!! GEAUX SAINTS!!

Play calling aside (shoulda took the 3 and Brees should've had the ball on that last play), the D couldn't stop them on 3rd down. That was probably a bigger issue overall.
