They were obviously interested, but went a different route. Im kinda glad that the Steelers didnt go out and grab some key guys in FA. Having pretty much the same team back that made the Superbowl is fine with me.

The Lions thread was started in 2004. This thread was started this season.

This board has gone through many transitions since 2004. The Lions thread seemed to have stuck around...other threads haven't. Possibly because there never was a "Team" section back in 2004 so most teams didn't have team threads.

Really no big deal. Steeler fans on this board seem to do more talking in the game day threads. Although, IMO those threads are becoming unreadable in the past 2-3 years due to a lot of immaturity and non Steeler fans constantly whining about the Steelers getting all the calls, playing dirty etc...

LOL, I'm so psyched for CFB that when I saw your Pitt avatar I thought I was in the Pitt Panthers thread.

Anyway, yeah the WR corp has looked sharp this preseason, especially Antonio Brown.

Bummer about Leftwich though. You could tell his injury was serious right away. The Steelers need to find some more durable backup QB's as neither him nor Batch can seem to stay healthy.

Lots of holes to fill, but none more than OG in the draft. Another year of Kemo and Essex is enough to make me go nuts.

DT and ILB are the other major positions to shore up. A FS is also needed.
