I think the defense will be better than last season on Peppers and Urlacher alone, the safety play will be better with Chris Harris at SS and Major Wright at FS.

I have alot more faith in Martz to put the offense in position to make plays. Turner is pee-wee football compared to him. I think he will be the biggest acquistion to be honest.

I too was very pessimistic about the Bears this year. BUT in today’s NFL, it looks like everybody can beat everybody. No team is really that bad BUT at the same time no team is dominate.

It was also nice to see Tommie Harris finally play this year.

You probably believe more than I do. For some reason I just can't buy into them this year. Feel like I'm watching fools gold but we shall see.

Gotta beat Detroit and Minnesota and hope we can at least win one of the last 3 from there. This Detroit game believe it or not is HUGE.

Throw stats out the window, as far as throwing the ball was concerned that was the best game I've seen Jay Cutler have throwing the football. His accuracy was pinpoint. He squeezed it through some pretty tight windows. Bear fans should be very encouraged by what they're seeing with him, he may actually be developing.

I also think getting Hester off the field more and getting Earl Bennett on the field has helped immensely. Credit Martz, he's actually adjusting the offense as the season goes on. As fans we're not used to having professional coaches who do things like that.

I think a reasonable goal from here on out is .500 football. 11-5 get's you in for sure.
