Unfortunately probably not. I really wanted to go yesterday but I just had too much to do and didn't make it.

Having what?

I would guess that the night practice on the 18th would probably be the best day to go. That's the second to last public practice and as it's a night practice it shouldn't be quite as hot. You can go to any practice, however. Unless the practice is indoors it's all open to the public.

Think i'm going to take the kids out there to see them practice...even though I don't like the Chiefs, but it's football.

Well, ordered a Berry knock-off jersey, hope he's as awesome as advertised.

Re: Offical Kansas City Chiefs Thread

The dilemma continues with Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones. Todd Haley has been very indecisive; when asked about Charles role said "that's still to be determined". I think it should be a perfect split in carries and we might make teams look really bad defending the run.

What do you think should be done? Favor Jamaal Charles? Favor Thomas Jones? Split evenly?

Jamaal Charles is better for our weak line, this is all a motivating exercise for Haley to get more out of him.

Re: Offical Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Got my Berry jersey and it's awesome, think I'll order the McCluster one now. Our team has been so bad it's been hard to even pick someone that you'd want to wear other than Gonzo unless you went with old school with a DT or something... never know how long people would be on the team. A little more reasonable at $40/pop.

Re: Offical Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Ugly, and lucky, but I'll take 2-0. SF game should be very winnable next week but after that the schedule is going to get much tougher.

I feel better about Berry today than I did after the SD game. Hopefully Romeo and Emmitt Thomas can coach him up because he still struggles with the PA and in coverage. Or maybe I'm just expecting too much out of a rookie DB.

EDIT: Someone needs to tell Brandon Carr to turn his dang head around. He's always been terrible about that and it doesn't look to have changed.

I also noticed that it seems like the Chiefs are good with making second half adjustments. Maybe that's just the Chargers and Browns not being very good at that, but it seems like the Chiefs were able to adjust well in the second half of both games. Am I crazy here, or has anyone else noticed that?
