Re: The Official Tennessee Titans Thread

I heard on the radio today that CJ wants $13 million for the next two years, but the Titans only have $6 million remaining in cap room this year.

Guess the front office must have been planning all along on not paying CJ this year since he is already under contract, then just letting him walk away via free agency in the off-season.

Titans' front-office is the definition of failure if they let CJ walk.

I'll be extremely sad if CJ goes into Free Agency. If we do let him go, I won't know what to say. All I could say is that it would be a HUGE mistake.

But, if he can't accept our maximum offer, then there isn't anything we can do about it.

Locker looked like a rook' last night.

Had trouble dealing with the blitz and getting the ball out accurately.

I get the feeling that Chris Johnson is going to holdout at least half the season or more for the Titans.

CJ is top 2 RB in the league, without a shadow of a doubt. However, he is a RB. No RB in the league is worth 13 mil. I wouldn't pay over 10. He has 3 more years of being top flight backs in this league before he starts to decline. 5 to 7 years from now, he will be irrelevant.

But let's enjoy the ride while it lasts.
