Bad season so far for the Falcons. Still plenty of time to turn things around. Injuries have plagued the team so far and some of those losses were close.

Rise Up 2014

Draft Day for the Falcons is going to be interesting this year. Part of me wants them to draft the best player with the 6th pick and the other part wants them to trade up to add more depth. Rise Up '14

Looking at the draft board, I think they need a franchise HB. What they have now are above average backs starting for them. I can name a smart choice for them at #6 overall pick. That man is Todd Gurley. He's clearly the best choice. The Falcons haven't had a franchise HB since their last super bowl run. Best HB I've seen in about 3 draft classes, in my opinion. Draft Grade: 92

I think the Falcons are going to have to trade up to get Vic Beasley or Dante Fowler. The most likely scenario is that the Falcons trade the 8th overall pick and either the 2015 3rd or 4th round pick to the Jets for the 6th overall pick.
Beasley then would be selected with the 6th overall pick by the Falcons.
