McDomalds' NHL2K10 PS3 Rosters 12-13

Throughout the year I will be updating NHL2K10 to comply with roster transactions for the 2012-2013 NHL season. These rosters will only be for PS3 (NTSC). Version 1.0 will be posted sometime this week and it will include accurate rosters for each NHL team (AHL teams will not be updated).

I've posted over at 2k to try to get you access. If no luck I would say just post here. Most guys seem to play the Xbox version anyway.

Just an update on my progress, I'm 100% done 16 teams (Anaheim through Nashville + Toronto) and about 50% done the 14 others. Each player has an overall that is based on online scouting reports+statistics+my opinion+potential for future succes. The rating system is as follows...

Elite Forward 87+
1st Line Forward ~85 ovr
2nd Line Forward ~83 ovr
3rd Line Forward ~79 ovr
4th Line Forward ~77 ovr

Elite Dman 87+
Top 2 Dman ~84 ovr
Top 4 Dman ~81 ovr
Top 6 Dman ~78 ovr

Elite Goaltender 87+
Starting Goaltender ~85 ovr
Backup Goaltender ~80 ovr

Each team contains its Top 4 C, LW, RW and its Top 6 Dmen along with 2 goalies.

remember, you only get to create 20 players. you already have 19.

look into using the fake players as created players (if you havent already)..

Not sure if interested or not but I did some goalie editing for 2k10 and they play much much better than default ratings. However, the elite goalies are rated more like 70, the starters would be more of a 67 and the backups more of a 60.

I've been editing fake players from the beginning because I can't stand the create-a-player faces. I just find a fake player in the correct position that has a face that looks like the player I was editing. It is also way faster and it is less obvious that the player was created.

I have played a ton so far with the teams I have already updated and things are looking good I will have the update released by tomorrow night
