Agreed. While I'll always take a look see what people are doing slider wise and see if there is any prevailing opinion on a specific slider value, I always make my own after lots of individual testing.
There are so many factors that go into making a set that you as a gamer are looking for.
Things like the team(s) you use, your play style, CPU strategies set, your skill level etc etc, the list just goes on. It is good though to have a look what others think but do your own testing to find what works for you would always be my advice

Oh yeah, I always do this. But I suck with it out of the box so I usually get myself a good slider set and fine tune them.
Also, 2k7 is a heck of a game. I actually prefer it to 2k8 I think. It looks so much cleaner and somehow plays more fluid. And the soundtrack gives me nice nostalgic vibes.
