2k10 Rosters/Mod Recommendations? (PS3)

Hello everyone! I recently got back into NHL 2K10 to take a trip down memory lane since it was the first ever NHL Game I played and I was wondering if anyone knows of any newer rosters that are available for download as well as if there are any good mods to look into. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

You can check out the list of most recent rosters for the PS3 for 2k10, on the roster update thread. You'll only find rosters right now as further mods for 2k10 has proved difficult due to the level of encryption on their extracted files.

Welcome! There are a number of rosters mostly from about 2013 onwards up to 2023 on these forums for NHL 2k10 PS3/rpcs3 and Xbox/xenia.

Any threads with a paper clip icon will have a download 90% still function. I am working on a 2009-2010 roster at the moment for PS3/rpcs3 as nothing other than the final roster share file exists but that is missing a lot of real AHL players and a lot of free agents are not assigned it is also missing hell of a lot of rookies who are still playing in todays NHL.

In terms of mods the only mods you'll get are slider sets or custom music if playing on Xboxx console, all attempts to mod this game or create a roster editor like NHL view have failed.

Any way to put more cyberfaces in nhl 2k10 ps3 emu? They have way more than ea but missing a lot of players. Would love to have all the players real faces in game to add to immersion. Especially TJ Oshie my favorite player.

When we say we've been updating rosters every year, we mean we like the game, its AI and its gameplay so much that we don't care even sometimes if guys have the right skin or hair colour. And saying the right name hardly ever happens either although there are ways with 2K8. Molifox does an awesome job of finding guys who just happen to look like the person he edits them to be.

But no, there are no "mods" for the NHL 2K series that are completed and actually work.

Just saying it adds to realism. If you cant mod it you can’t. That’s why I love the game for realism and immersion. So I see Wayne simmonds as a Caucasian I drop his stats to 20 and release him. Immersion and good gameplay is all i seek.

So, why not find a Black player in the FA pool or on a minor league team, transfer the attributes to that player and then move him to where you think he should be, though he's not playing for TOR or anyone right now and is probably going to retire soon being he's 35 years old. Regardless, you can do this for anyone.

Question with moddong or the roster editiotr is it possible to generate higher scoring seasons in nhl 2k8 9 or 10? As it is I want there to be more scoring in my sims for franchise mode
