NHL 2K12: Possible Evidence of a Return?

Take Two president indicated months ago there would be a 2k12 for the 360 and PS 3 so I am curious as to why no one believed him.

I am yearning for a new hockey franchise to play. Watching the playoffs I am getting a major itch which can't be scratched by NHL 11.

I fell in love with NHL 07 after not playing hockey games since the ps2 days (NHL 03 maybe?). The EA franchise is great but after 5 years I know everything about the game. Every place on the ice to score and every AI tendency. The game isn't stale. I just know it too well.

I would love to see NHL 2k12!

The main reason i want there to be an NHL 2k12 is because they really nail the presentation. Everything is in real time in 2k games, and if they put in a NHL today mode then they have my $60.

It's good to have other options and see a game/sport from a different angle.
The Show is an extremely good game. But even I got bored of it after a few years.
It's human nature to want to try a different flavor now and then.
