I'm not so sure about the stereo feature, but NHL 2k12 sure could benefit from some amazing presentation like they have in MLB 2k10 and NBA 2k11.

THAT would guarantee many sales.

Stereo 3D isn't possible on the Wii. At least not from what I've found.
If I'm wrong please correct me. But if it's true the Wii doesn't handle this kind of sound, then he must be talking about next-gen.

At this point, all signs point to it existing. I don't see why not to believe the things we've read so far.

This news personally makes me happy. I was fine with having just NHL 11 last year, but it's never a bad thing to have another option. If 2K can get NHL anywhere close to where they have NBA, things could get really good. Hopefully the year off did well for them.

If 2K12 does come out, I'm really, REALLY hoping that My Player makes an appearance.
I can't wait for MLB2K11's MP mode so hopefully we see the same depth that exists in NBA in MLB and NHL as well.

For me, it's all about the presentation. I'm sick of MLB games and NBA making you feel like you are part of a living breathing franchise, whereas NHL 11 makes me feel like I'm playing a bunch of exhibition games with zero evidence that the announcers have any clue what is happening in my season.

I want it to finally come to life.

NHL 2k12 may be that for us.

That's one of my biggest complaints about EA's game right now.
If NHL2K12 has NBA2K11 and MLB presentation... look out!

agreed. the NHL 2K series needs the presentation of the NBA 2K game.

honestly, i dont care who does it, but one of these hockey games needs to suck it up and get the presentation to the NBA 2K and MLB The Show standards.

with that said, i want to comment on the commentary. please 2k, ea, whoever.. stay with the 2 man booth, but add 2 more on top of that.

example team a does the east home games, and team 2 does the west home games. i know that would mean a lot less dialog, but who cares. i'd rather have basic play by play, passes the puck to Smith etc then stories that are 5 years behind times. IMO it could be done, but what do i know lol.

Or maybe a guy between the benches? Just as long as it's not Pierre McGuire!
I'll take Ray Ferraro or Glen Healey any day over McGuire yelling into the camera!
