NBA2k12 will their be NHL2K13

I'd still like to see a release. BB cameras would have to be shelved. Hockey games need vision and semi-1st person cameras just won't cut it.... at least, not that way they're presently done.

i agree with you and just like you i wish there'll be a 2k13. the demise (if ever) of this series is plainly due to inability to improve their game. i know its 2k who initially used the right analog stick for hitting (? forgot which 2k was that) and EA capitalize on it by using this as the hockey stick.

also, the graphics of 2K got so stale that i prefer the graphics of 2k6 in the old xbox and 360. no matter how good the gameplay was, the graphics become so distasteful for me.

If there is, I hope they make it for PC. I'd jump on that.........the mods alone would be worth it!

I thought the graphics for 2K10 were fine, though the goalies were rather ugly. The arenas and the rest of the player models looked fine to me. Part of what made 2K10 look ugly as well was the skating animations, which they did kind of smooth out with the 360 patch. I do agree that if 2K were to try a comeback it should be on PC and Portables. Attack where EA isn't, much like they were on the Wii for a while. Anyone else notice that Slapshot was a one time deal it seems to help drive 2K out of hockey.

There is a group interested in buying there source code for 2k10, there has been no response which means they have plans to use it or dont care to make a few extra $ from a game they canned.

Wonder if that would be 505 Games, the makers of Backbreaker? There has also been a rumor floating around they are rebuilding the NHL engine and such. Nothing has been confirmed though so....until Take Two comes out and says they are done with NHL games there's an ever so small ray of hope, but I'm not holding my breath.
