Well as you can see, I survived my surgery and going through recovery now. It's a little weird but it's going well so far. Still a ways to go though. _

Just played 2 Games..need more to play but feels and looks very good.

Yeah. The one thing that makes this game very difficult is the apparent lack of "easy" defensive tools like EA's NHL series or even NHL 2K 10 with its tie up button.

NHL 2K8 you have to be really good at staying in position and preventing the AI from skating alone in the zone or you get swamped with shots. Running around, spamming pokecheck and hitting often lands you in trouble more than it helps.

With the slight tweaks I made, I wanted to see if I could change the AI defensemen (mostly on your team) a bit so they wouldn't lunge at the puck handler and constantly give breakaways. I also tweaked the puck interceptions a bit so the cpu has a tougher time just swallowing every puck that sails within 2 inches of their players. It also should allow for more passing plays on both ends, but it's tough to artificially force the AI that way, especially seeing how old the gameplay is. It's still better than anything EA dishes up, imo. Even today.

I tried franchise for a few games with them and the game stats seem pretty even. Goalies should also allow more goals to go in, so 0-0 and 1-0 games shouldn't happen as often.
