NHL 2K6 addicted [emoji6]

Call me crazy, but I've heavily fallen in love with NHL 2K6 on Xbox 360. I've loved the original Xbox version and played the next gen from time to time but now I'm hooked.
But don't worry, I will continue my 2K8 roster updates as well,
But seriously, 2k6 is great. The graphics are dated but good , custom music broken ( ever since), the team editors are lacking of options( team colors, jersey variations) but.... the gameplay, the presentation, the rosters ( Yzerman, Lemieux, Messier....), on the fly coaching ( works brilliant) and the goal scoring variety are awesome. It plays so fluid and you can feel the intensity of an rival game.
The latest rosters are from 2020 ( Thanks to Molifox), maybe someone (Molifox ) would find some time for a recent update(??).
But it plays great with the old ones too.

Yeah, that would be so awesome. I can't find the time anymore, except updating 2k8, with my second child on the way my free time is more than limited.

Does anybody know how to work around that penalty glitch? I'm using the slider set from below with a few tweaks on all-star and don't get any penalties. I'm hooking and slashing like crazy.... no penalties
Switching back to the pre-sim slider of the game fixes the problem but it's not as good as the other set (mentioned below)
Can someone help me out?

Nope, sorry, I refuse to call you crazy. 2K6 is one of the best games in the entire series. In fact I'd put it as the best one only after 2K5. None of the things you listed as problems matter once you get on the ice. The game is extraordinary. Molifox's rosters made it so fun. The sliders actually responded very well and aside from the menus looking a little boring, the gameplay and presentation were amazing. I'd love new rosters for this.

The penalty glitch can be fixed by choosing the games automatic sim sliders( or any you prefer ) and then adjusting every slider you like, EXCEPT the penalty ones.
