This is being posted in both the MLB 2k9 forum and the MLB 09: The Show forum.

The war is over. Period. I don't want to see any more game bashing either way. This will NOT turn into the next Madden/2k5 board war.

If I am told of fans of either game "invading" the other forum and bashing either game, action will be taken, including the banning of users from specific forums. As always, constructive criticism will be allowed.


If you see any of this, please use the "Report Post" feature, or PM myself or a moderator directly.

Game comparisons will not be allowed in 2K or Show forums. This will not turn into the Madden/2K forums we had last fall.

Good stuff as usual, Millenium. To add, maybe we can get a bit tighter on threads being opened over every thought that comes to mind about the game.

Also, maybe a Q&A type thread for newer members or those who haven't been following the game as closely would help too. That way other members and perhaps simballer can jump in if they have the answer.

I think that might help with clutter anyway

thanks so much. its all in good timing, we are about to have 2 great baseball games drop at the same time. Each game is great in its own right and we who love the game of baseball( not just the video game) need to have an outlet where we can talk about the great things that the game bring to us without having to read through 1000th messages that have nothing to do with the topic.

likewise, there will be things worse than others. there will be bugs and glitches. people who like the game shouldnt jump in peoples jocks because there are things they hate about the game, and vice versa. Some people come on these sites because they have glitches and errors and other things wrong with the game and need to see who else or what else is wrong with it. As long as they arent belligerant, they deserve to be heard, just like everyone else on this site. A good majority of people on these sites can be d-bags. I think the mods do a decent job of dealing with these things.

Going to reiterate this.

With releases coming soon, I'm THIS close to putting instants bans on the table for both baseball forums.

Do yourself a favor - if you are going to bash either game, don't. Be constructive, but if you walk to line here, you'll be gone, and I don't care how long you have been posting.
