Only sports game I'm buying this year day one will be The Show. I enjoy the game and I'm a baseball fanatic so I can't not get it day one. I just hope there are meaningful improvements to franchise mode this year as well as true next-gen graphics.

That's what I did in 2022. They're not even worth the trouble, anymore. The next sports game I get will be College Football in 2024.

I think even with that one, I’m going to wait on reviews from people whose opinion I trust around these parts.

I'm still heavily invested in my MLB 21 franchise; that it makes it easier to wait.

It just seems like - and this is mainly with Madden - it takes a few months to get the game where it needs to be, at least for franchise players. Might as well save a few bucks if I'm going to have to wait anyway.

Re: 2023 game plans

My plans remain the same as they have been for the last ten years, which is to start getting into new genres besides sports and simple time-killers.

Re: 2023 game plans

I think my plans are:

Current Games:

Horizon Forbidden West (Got it for Xmas)
Cyberpunk (Hopefully get back into it)
Marvel Midnight Suns (When Price Drop)
God of War (First one-complete it)

New Games (Buy at release)

Jedi Survivor
Spider-Man 2

Really looking forward to these. Enjoyed both first games)

Not sure:

MLB the Show (Still playing 20-got for $15)
Madden
NBA 2k
Wwe2k

All these games will have to grab me with updates to immersion in Franchise, Universe, etc. Highlight Shows. News etc. At this point if they aren’t going to fix some of the long-standing issues I might as well stick with what I have. My son won’t like me not getting NBA 2k but then he can buy it if he wants it.

Re: 2023 game plans

If cyperpunk would released in this state what is now, it would be game of the year.

College Football I think it will to much hyped. With EA it will be another title where the offline or franchise mode players will left behind. all resources will go in UT. Why we pay 80$ to pay then for card packs I don't get. Never played UT in any EA sports game

Diablo 4 I wanna play this year
