Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC

Oh it feels so good playing as Aloy again. Also to hear Lance voice gave me chills. So far I am enjoying the DLC quite a bit. The animals you face in this area are way tougher. Very beautiful area though. Judging by the map, a good sized area too.

Re: Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC

They said the map is a third the size of the main game. So that's a good chunk of land to explore.

With that said I strongly disliked the turn the story took in the sequel so likely will pass on this unless there is deep discount down the line.

Re: Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC

Finally got better weapons and new armor for this new tough area. At least now I have a chance of surviving fighting these animals. Before it was like death is coming in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1......That giant frog machine, omg is a tough fight currently and they are all over the place. Also got new special weapon right before I stopped. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it appears to be quite powerful just by looking at it.

Re: Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC

Finished the DLC last night. That new special weapon is really subpar. Despite how short the DLC is, the boss fight is very long, multi stage fight. Now time to explore the area. Oh yeah, you can go back to the mainland anytime you want. Judging by how the DLC ended, there is potential for 2 or 3 more DLCs. Or they could just save it for the 3rd game.

Don't get the talk about the dlc being called short. I have put like 9 hours on the dlc so far and have not beaten the story yet and still have stuff to find.
