With full ray-tracing it's quite impressive as you say and yes, you feel like Indie

Loving it so far

Of all the new games to recently drop, this is capturing me the most. One thing I'll need to pass to those of us who despise First-Person. MachineGames nailed it for us. It's not disorienting, or debilitating for those sufferers and works surprisingly well. They wanted to differentiate Indiana Jones from Uncharted and so far, they've succeeded.
I wouldn't say I despise first-person, but I believe FPS games should be more advanced at this point. More should be happening within the field of view, or specifically, more should be happening with the arms and hands interacting with the environment. For example, when you run up to walls and peek around corners and such, the hand should be navigating the wall, grabbing the corner, etc, really performing actions outside of the main (firing guns, swinging a knife). Without that, all of the FPS titles just feel generic imo.

Same thing happened with Indiana Jones after I booted it up once, just didn't hold my attention (I did like how he cocks/uncocks the pistol however).

You're talking about having "the 6 degrees of freedom -Full 360 degrees"? As a VR enthusiast, I can relate. After being exposed to VR, flat-FP became so "old school," and undesirable that unless you've tried it, its hard to even explain the comparison. Playing in a 3D world eliminates that FP flat limitations.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

I’ve only done a handful of things in the Vatican so far, but what a great first impression.

This is the first time I’ve used PC gamepass deliberately for a single game/month, and the sustainability of such a service has me kind of confused. How many hundreds of thousands if not eventually millions of potential customers are just going to pay the $10-$20 and then bounce after the month is up?

I’m sure a small percentage of those people will wind up hanging around in perpetuity, but I don’t know how you continue to fund AAA game production while simultaneously cutting yourself off at the knees…

I would’ve easily bought this at full price if there wasn’t such a cheap alternative.

I still prefer if third person was a choice. Haven’t been able to get into first person like I used to. But I have to say I’m still enjoying this Indiana game quite a bit.

I find the lady that be with you on some missions annoying. You be trying to be stealthy and she is always walking right in front of guards. Reminds me of that dude on Socom Navy Seals who use to do the same thing all the time. Also notice the later part of the game is quite glitchy and buggy. You will hear Indiana repeat lines from an earlier mission that is not relevant to your current one. Also some times when you try to climb a wall, he will get stuck within the wall.

Re: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Ok game finally beaten, took me 26 hours with a little of exploring and site seeing going on. The last level for me was bugged. I watched dozens of videos of people breezing through going to the tent level. Wasn't the case for me, the direction they went, I had mad guards over there who had eagle eyes. Took me several hours just to get through it. The ending was kind of good, dragged out, but was good.

Over all I would give the game a 8 out of 10. If there was an award category for villain of the year, Voss would win it hands down. He was a funny dude and was the highlight of the game for me.

Haven't been playing since new games releases and Patch #2, which released a few days back. Still enjoying the story and game play. They even improved the graphics in this update.
