Having recently played the remade "Link's Awakening", I really enjoyed the toy figurine / tilt-shift / 2.5-D art style of these games. Whoever it was at Nintendo that thought to do that, it was a great call.
It made me think that they should really remake the original "Legend of Zelda" in that same toy figure/tilt-shift art style. I would totally play that game. Although I will say that "Link's Awakening" also reminded me of so many things I hated about old Japanese NES games, like how you could easily get stuck and waste way too many hours of your precious time if you didn't see 1 tiny crack in the wall somewhere, or some totally off-the-wall solution to a problem just never occurs to you. -
