Official "I got to play XBox 360" Impressions Thread

My local EB was supposed to have the Demo booth up and running but did not have it yet. I went to another EB in Long Island and got a few minutes with it.
King Kong looked reall sweet and was alot of fun to play. Call Of Duty looked much better. It really is impresive. I was surprised at the size of the 360 as it seemed only slightly smaller then the XBOX. The controller felt great.I think we have a lot to look foward to. I think the sports ganes will be great. Was my feeling that these games where jaw droping ? No Did I think they looked great ?
Yes! These games will only get better and better as the studios learn the hardware. I think by next year Madden will be great. This year is just a taste.
Anybody else see the kiosk? Post what you guys think!

Ok I got to play the 360 today! I plyed COD2. First off the controller felt great and the movenment of the black and white buttons to the shoulder was a great fix.
I was thoroughly impressed with COD2. It's basically the same thing we've always played but the details were incredible. I knew the smoke effects were supposed to be great and they are! I threw out a smoke grenade when we were pinned down and the smoke filled the area and was awesome looking. Planes were flying all over the place etc..
The best moment was when I turned a corner to the beach and there were many HUGE artillary guns and in the water was huge ships. I caught myself just looking at the scenery while bullets flew all over the place. The soldier next to me took one in the head and (As bad as this sounds) it also looked sweet. There was hardly a moment to rest as it was hectic as he!!.
Anyone who loves war type games should have this as a must buy.

It's going to make the wait that much harder......

I have been to wally world twice in the last few days, but both times people have been on it. And both times the same person was there for 15 minutes plus, ugh. Anyway it looked great and the WalMart employee was kinda creepy. Sooo hard to resist not getting in line for it.

I played it today in the Atlanta area and I must saay the COD2 was very sweet. I traded in my XBOX yesterday and can't wait to get me hands on the 360.

I got to play at the Wal-mart in San Angelo TX. COD is NICE!!! I'm definitely getting it. King Kong was okay and Kameo looked decent. The controller felt good...I can't wait...
