For your VIP code, you have to add the dashes, did you do that? I made that mistake the first time.

As for the Red Dots, you unlock them once you reach a certain amount of score for the class. For the Engineer class, you unlock the Red Dot at around 12,000 points. Then you can equip it in your spec 1 slot.

For some reason it takes a few times getting killed before it shows up. Don't know why.

I pick a random class at midnight and stick with it the whole day. The last two nights, I have been a Medic. I really like that class it keeps you moving the whole time.
