I hate Arica. However...if you've got people who know what they are doing in a rush, you can absolutely dominate either on offense or defense.

I hate when you face a good attacker there and they know how to use the Helicopter. It's wave after wave of parachutes and freakin miniguns of death.

This may be the first game ever where I've preferred being a sniper than to being just a grunt.

Anyone play on a hardcore mode server? Totally different animal. Not even a cross hair. I like it though.

Port Valdez ****ing sucks when you're trying to plant on Rush.

It's really the only map I just don't like playing

What are the best gunners for starters? I am struggling like crazy! I still don't have a kill with a grenade.
Are you spotting them before you snipe? That's what I do. Once I reload I just follow the marker. I'd stick to assault if I were you, the XM8 is a beast.

I actually love Arica Harbor, my favorite map in the game.

I started playing BC2 and was not really liking it. I found myself getting hit then dying and not know who and where the person was that killed me almost like I was hit by a ghost. I played the first game a lot and didn't remember this happening. I was really getting frustrated as well because a lot of players are not playing correctly.

I finally got some friends and played, then the game changed for me and I started liking it. We had a good group of 4 and that made the difference. You can't really play this game in a single mode like MW2 and expect to do well. I never played a sniper until this game, I really like the feel of it. I am also glad they changed the vehicle controls so I don't have to fight my memory of other games.

Picked it up today for the team play reasons you mention. MW2 just felt like lone wolf all the time, and I don't have the desire to put in the hours to be awesome at solo play like that. Sounds like this is more strategy based, and I really like that.

I've gotten bored with shooters lately, hoping this is one to break the chain.

I love Africa Harbor as well. Each set of objective points is significanlty different than the others. Me and some buddies played a game on that map yesterday that had to have taken at least a half hour. So epic.
