Yeah, I agree. You can play this game very well with no microphone at all. If people have mics, 99% of the time they complain constantly anyway. As in every other FPS. But, if you don't use a mic people complain and "you're not a team player."

Past 9:30 pm i can't talk much if at all cause i have a daughter and wife sleeping. Knowing my ability to speak loudly even when whispering, you can see how it could be a problem.

Was that straight kills or some "medals/emblems" points thrown in as well?

I'll send you a friend request, not the best at this but I'm not the worst either. YES!!!...you're squad make-up can make all the difference in your experience with this game.

definitely medals / emblems in there but it was still nuts. i didn't know you could get that many points. it's all about doing these types of things like crushing a vehicle with the mines.

actually, that other guy in our squad was flying and i was the nose gunner...they couldn't stop us. he would just go land it and repair and we'd go back and just devastate them. they kept sticking together so i would get a ton of multiple kills.

How does spotting work exactly? Do I need to be a recon or something, or just hit back when I see someone. Do my crosshairs have to be right over them?

Anyone can spot, not just recon; and yes, your crosshairs have to be on them.

And while we're on the topic, I'm pretty miffed about how bad they nerfed spotting. It might have been a little too easy in the demo & beta, but I think they went overboard with the nerf. Seems like half the time it's not even worth it to spot, like you're jamming the select button when you could be shooting, and before you know it, they're not spotted & they're not dead. Maybe I just suck or something, but I liked it better before.
