Oh I agree. I am working to max out recon right now and sniping is boring. I do it some when the situation calls for it. However, I usually grab a shotty and some C4 when I do recon and or Shotty and mortar. MUCH more fun.

There are times when you need the sniper rifle though, especially to counter snipe.

Engineer is still my fav class though. But I wanna max out all classes.

well, I know that even though it's not my main class that I do enjoy playing as a recon. Some rounds I may end with only six or seven kills but that's my last priority when playing as a recon. I like to spot as many people as I can for my teammates, I like to throw motion mines to assist my teammates, and it's always a great feeling to C4 a tank with three people inside it. In fact, a lot of my kills as a recon come from my pistol and not my sniper rifle.

Last night I had a pretty nice moment. I was playing Conquest on that desert map, and a whole squad spawned right in front of me. So, needless to say I got 4 quick dogtags as a result.
