I play a complete support person. I don't worry about kills unless they come near me, and I know I die a lot. But I get a ton of support points, whether it be health, ammo, or spots. I'm happy as hell with how it plays.

Too many recon's give Recon a bad name. They don't spot, they don't mortar a tank or any location, and worst of all they don't move up. I was in a squad with another Recon and he would NOT move from where he was. I swear when i play I'm the only Recon using the motion mine or Mortars. Come on, you spot a tank sitting there lobbing rounds and you refuse to mortar the thing OR you refuse to Mortar the building when they're running to defuse the MCOM, or even cover the MCOM if its out in the open. COME ON.

Love the motion mines and mortar strikes. I like to try and get close enough to lob a mine into an objective we are trying to capture to help give away positions in addition to spotting. It's fun calling in a mortar strike on a building and then picking off the guys that come running out when the rain starts.

I don't understand how to use the motion mine assist balls at all.

I would like to get the pin as its only one of three left I need but I have no clue how to get it!

Step 1- Find high concentration of enemy (like MCOMs on O)
2- Throw the ball
3- Have to wait for teammates to shoot them.
4- Throw other ball once the first runs out of juice.

It is highly dependent on your teammates actually killing stuff. I honestly prefer to use the g3 or shotguns (Saiga for life) when using the mines. If you use the sniper rifle, you are too far back to get a good mine pickup.

Just throw it and it records any enemy movements in its radius. They'll show up on the radar.

So it has nothing to do with mines planted on the ground?
