So the 2nd (Gustav) rocket launcher is best against copters? Do you have to use the tracer dart since the Gustav doesn't have guidance? With the default launcher it's impossible to aim and hit a copter....
Ohio rocks at this but I'm getting much better. Took out 3 in my last match last night.

Use the Gustav Rocket, it's much quicker. You have to anticipate and lead your target. Sometimes the chopper will just loiter in one place.

If you enable the extra ammo and extra explosive perk it even does better.

However even without the extra explosive damage perk it seems to down them in one shot.

The guided rocket does work too but it's too damn slow.

I use the Gustav too, and I love it. I get more kills at longer distances. I've never taken out a Chopper with the guided AT4, it's too much work to me.. lol.

I take it the Gustav's a lot faster than the default launcher? That's my only problem with leading them, just seems impossible with the generic one...

I'm not sure, I haven't used the default launcher in so long.

Just bust *** and unlock the Gustav, then with a little practice you'll be dropping 'em. It's disappointed when you're ready to shoot and someone else has already taken it out.

Then you gotta wait for the next victim!

I've taken a chopper down by sniping the pilot. Wish there was a replay feature, but it was pure luck. The fool was hovering in a single spot

I don't think there is too much difference in them. I wouldn't call it faster, the Gustav is supposed to be better for killing foot soliders. Don't quote me too hard on that, It's just something I read and something I've come to believe after swapping launchers myself

The RPG is supposed to be better for destroying tanks and the guided AT4 is for destroying Helos, but I struggle using it. It's probably the same reason I can't use the stationary launchers, either.
