The RPG is supposed to be better for destroying tanks and the guided AT4 is for destroying Helos, but I struggle using it. It's probably the same reason I can't use the stationary launchers, either.
Stationary's are more like the Gustav though.

The guided rocket is more like the UAV missile. You just paint the target.

The stationary guns are great for whipping rockets around corners. Valporaiso is ideal for this on defense. Whipping a rocket around the corner where the bradley thinks he's safe is very satisfying. You don't even see him blow up. You see the points rack up and then a minute later there's tire rims rolling down the hill.

to me, the best way is to tracer dart it (which takes practice) and then you (or any Engineer) can aim and HOLD down Aim button until the distance to target numbers come up... that means you are locked on... then fire rocket and it will lock onto tracer (on first two launchers) even if the Heli is out of sight and around a corner... you can do the same with any person or vehicle for that matter.

That's the problem, it goes so slow and then you start having to deal w/depth perception when having to curve the missile to follow a chopper.

I've hit people running across the map with the guided AT rockets. I also do a little fist pump.

What is odd is that NO ONE ever gets on the stationary weapons. They are my most deadly weapon in the game so far I think.

How the hell do you run people over!? When I try to do it the damn ATV just goes through them or doesn't even touch them.

The stationary anti-tank launcher is a one-hit kill on tanks. Beaucoup points.

The heavy machine gun with the armor is pretty beastly too. It seems to do enough damage to tanks that they start paying attention to you rather than the people walking around them too. Perfect as a distraction.

I live on stationary when I can. Valporaiso I'm all about it.
