That sig site won't update for me. Says my NEXT update is 8 hours ago.

I'd like one change in spotting. When a player is spotted and gets to effective cover he should lose his spot tag. Tag should maybe stay at his "last known position" for a few seconds then disappear.

Yea mine won't update either...been 3 days..and the BFBC2 site won't let me see my own personal stats because I can't click on names on the leaderboard...ah well.

And I don't know...I like the idea...but I kind of feel like I would just end up not liking it for whatever reason, it makes more sense though.

I think that would be too difficult to code into the game, simply because how will the game know for sure when you've reached "effective cover"... maybe you duck behind a pile of rubble and are obscured from one guys line of sight... but your back might be completely vulnerable.

Change to spotting should be adding it to Hardcore. I like having no HUD, more bullet penetration and less health. You lose one of the best aspects of multiplayer though.

I hope they don't add spotting to hardcore. I love hardcore for the fact that it's not cluttered and it's at least semi-realistic.

I don't like seeing little red icons all over my screen from someone spot-whoring the map to death. That's pretty annoying, someone just running around pressing select and me being visible to everyone on the map suddenly. I'm glad that isn't on hardcore and hope it stays off.

Spotting is still technically there, you just don't have the visual for it as I got a spot assist one time after pointing out a guy.
