Unlocked my final gun on assault last night. Nothing left to unlock.

Now I can just go with the flow. I just felt like I had to unlock everything first.

I have everything except the Recon class, I still have 3 guns left to go on that one. I'm tempted to just swap out the sniper for a regular gun that's available for all kits and just get my points that way.

That's what I did. Recon, M3, all explosives. Just run around and C4 the crap out of MCOM stations and take down the buildings.

Recon was the first (and only) class I have maxed out so far. The quickest way for me was playing hardcore TDM. I was putting up numbers like 20-9 every game and I quickly ranked up.

I had a great game in regular TDM the other day. It was me and only other guy on our team. I was switching between assault and engineer amd I went 38-11 and my teammate only had 10 kills... so yeah, we lost to two teams with four players.

Thanks for playing recon, jerk.

Recon tips for people having trouble leveling it:

- carry a shotgun.
- use C4 on MCOM stations and tanks.
- use motion mines in high traffic areas (MCOM stations).

It's (generally) easy to run up to a tank, throw a C4 on it, and blow it up for a few hundred points. Just make sure you try to stay behind cover as much as possible when approaching it.

That's how I roll on recon, though sometimes I just have Mortar Strike instead of C4 (depends on the map). I end up just defending the MCOMS and throwing mines, using the shotgun up close. On offense I use the mines and usually C4 though I haven't mastered the C4 on tanks yet (a gunner on the tanks get me sometimes).

It's a fun way to be recon without having to sit and snipe.

Plant the C4 all over the MCOM.

Arm charge.....move away from the MCOM.

Let 2 or 3 fools get close to disarm.....BOOOM! 3 Kills , OBJ Damage...g2g.

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced

yeah i just discovered the C4 and how effective and useful it is. i only have a few medic unlocks left. also, regarding dog tags usually when i get a chance i'm thinking about using the knife and getting one but when for some reason i get more satisfaction with the point blank headshot and knowing how surprised the other player would be getting blown away and hearing the gunshot too haha
