What if I had it before and I buy a used copy, will I have to be an online pass again?

I got the game used a month ago. Is it worth the $15 for the VIP? I have no trouble finding games on the default maps, but are the VIP maps that much better? Should I just wait until Vietnam comes out?

I sold mine about 2 months ago, and bought a new one again on Black Friday. I didn't have to enter the new code, my old one still worked. I think you will be ok.
