Yep, i had to think it over, but i got it (the Ultimate Version). Not even a week and I get new maps, the DLC isn't expensive b/c i got the gm for $30 and i dont mind paying for it as i will still be below $60 total.

Oh there's no doubt. I'm finishing AC over the next few days, then I think it's time to work the rust out with the new maps in prep for 'NAM.

Ok Jistic...reading all the comments and seeing some vids I broke down and bought BC2. I was completly sold on COD black ops until I hopped in this thread dag dabbit. I actually liked tier one, was doing awesome at it, it was just too light for me. It felt like what madden was when it first hit the 360, bar bones and nothing really to keep me coming back. Too bad your 360 brother, would love to shoot it up with some felllas here on the PS3

Well the 360 update to prepare for map pack 7 and the expansion is live, downloading now and it's 1.64GB..and to top it off I just sold CoD:Black Ops for $48 on half.com, yeah for me! I'm going to practice up on this, I haven't played forever and I used to be decent once upon a time

I miss this game - I might pick it up again. Seems to be about $29 bucks used.

Personally I would just wait until the Vietnam expansion, the VIP map packs prior to the forthcoming pack 7, were just a case of them unlocking different modes (i.e. you can now play Rush mode on map xyz) on previous multiplayer maps. VIP map pack 7 would be the first one with "new" maps, even though 2 of them are maps from the campaign and the other two are fan favs from the 1st BF:BC game..that's not worth $15 to me for the VIP code to me.

Ok, thanks for explaining. I have the PC version, and wondered why I never got any "patches" or downloads when these packs hit.

Is the Vietnam strictly DLC or is there going to be a disc release?
