This beta is awesome and has killed some of my enjoyment for Modern Warfare 2. Shooting mechanics and controls are much improved over BC1. Love the weight to the guns and your movement. Sniping actually takes some skill. No more instant zoom or no scopes. Sniping isn't a one hit kill unless it's a headshot. It's not easy to take somebody down sprinting across the map, as you have to lead them perfectly. The medic is back with the shock paddles! The sound design is the absolute benchmark. Everything sounds incredible.

My only complaints are that spotting seems a little to easy. I sat up on a hill in a tank overlooking most of the map, and was able to spam select and the other team were lighting up on the map. I didn't even see half the people I was spotting. I don't like killcams period, but here at times, not only can you see where the person killed you, but you also will see 2-3 seconds to which direction their moving.

Great job though DICE. This beta has solidified this as an instant purchase. Pretty much everything I had issues with and the reasons I never did pick up BC1 have been rectified.

Just had a funny moment. I was swimming behind somebody on the other team, and as he tried to climb the ladder, I would bump into him making him fall back down in the water. I did this several times before finally letting him climb out. I followed right behind him and knifed him.

Nice post. I hope they open up the beta again sometime soon. I'd really like to see how this game fairs against Mag.

Damn! Anyone know when the next opening will be? I've been playing BF2 just so I can get in.
