At least that is how it was when I played when it first came out...lol.
I never knew that. Thanks.

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced

I just got this game today after reading these posts, and I'm really loving it so far.

I'm terrible at Black Ops because apparently my reflexes suck but this has been much more enjoyable and I like the space and strategy that comes with it. I love spotting guys and watching my team light these guys up (feels like a clutch assist in bball). Of course I tried to fly my first chopper tonight and promptly went sideways and crashed into a mountain (sorry dude flipping out in my headset, practice makes perfect?).

Anyways it'd be nice to have some teamwork and people actually working toward an objective instead of playing it as deathmatch .

Im on the 360 Gt is Lincsink...feel free to add me (Disclaimer: I suck)

Guys another tip for defending in Rush.

Since C4 hardly damages Obj anymore, use it more to defend. I surrounded the obj with it, I was defending with C4 then back up a bit and wait. See a squad come in and boom....lol. Yes it hurts your Obj but not much.

Warning: Be careful doing this tactic in a damaged building. You could risk bring it down on your own Obj.

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced

I bought the game on release day and played it to death back in the Spring and Summer. I kind of fell into the Black Ops hype like most (and I love it, cause I just sold Activision stock at a decent profit). I threw it back in last night. I forgot how great this game is. The destructible environments are a thing of beauty. The sound totally immerses you in the game.

The best part about the game is you don't need to be some 80:1 K/D ratio speed freak in order to help your team win. Teamplay works great and is actually rewarded with points. Mine a chokepoint; blow up a M-COM; spot enemies with your recon class. It's all good.

I never bought Bad Company 1, so Harvest Day and Oasis are new to me. The maps are great and Vietnam looks like it's going to kick ***.

Nickel9peb on PS3 if anyone needs a fellow OSer to play with.
