Exactly. There is no class ranking progress for unlocks. Just overall rank. Now I am unsure whether the class points effect the main game or not.

I will probably pick this up after Christmas used. Black Ops matchmaking is getting a little ridiculous and I don't see it improving with the new shipment of noobs coming this weekend.

When you rank up in a class in Vietnam and unlock kit, it tells you during game for the main game. So that is cool.

So you can still unlock kit for the main game in Vietnam mode!

Used??
I don't believe there are any plans for a disc version. It will be like 1943,you might get it at a reduced rate sometime down the line,but I don't know what you meant by "used".

This game and it's expansion are so worth buying new. Especially over the same old CoD.
