Ditto, and to me it's a feature perfectly suited for hardcore as it's one of the ultimate forms of teamwork.

Just for my first taste of Vietnam, damn it's fun and the maps are sweet.

Which shotgun, any of them?

I'm thinking of buying this game. How does it stack up against Black Ops?

In comparison, there really is none....IMO, BC2 absolutely destroys Black Ops
from sound,graphics and gameplay.

BC is not a game that rewards the "rambo" style of gameplay, there are no killstreaks,so you'll be the one getting all the kill, not the cpu.

Black Ops is much much easier to be good at (imo),while BC2 has a steeper learning curve,to me it's much more satisfying when getting that kill.

In BC,you're really not safe behind cover,as it can easily be destroyed, there is also bullet drop,so that automatic sniper shot is never there, especially at a good distance.
Vehicles are an absolute blast, the size of the maps is impressive, especially heavy metal....honestly?...there is so much that this game does right,it's hard to find a fault.

Bottom line....if you enjoy running around a maze looking for that piece of cheese like a mouse,Black Ops will be more your style....if you like wide-open warfare, destructible environments, vehicles and an overall better environmental feel BC2 is your game.

I will say however,if customization is your thing,BC2 won't cut it....as there really is none....no gun camos,no changing your reticle or color....or anything of the sort.

BC2 also lacks game modes in comparison to Black Ops....the main game modes for BC2 are
1-Rush- Attack and defend mcom stations
2-Conquest- teams race to capture 3 points of the map (A,B and C)

There's also Squad Rush, Squad Deathmatch (this ones a blast)....you and a few friends squad up,and fight other squads...no objectives,no capturing points...just kill everything that moves.
There's also Hardcore mode for each type of game mode...so in other words,no crosshair on screen,no map,no ammo count...so if you did this mode in Black Ops,you'll know what to expect.

If you're into team objective game modes BF2 is the way to go. If you're more interested in playing Team deathmatch then Black Ops is your game.

Man I miss this game so bad right about now. I will be picking this up soon if I can find it cheap at gamestop. Had some great times with OSers on this game.
