Why is it warranted a *purchase* ??

-I JUST started to get into Battlefield after playing COD forever...and I am loving Battlefield.

Because it is an AMAZING experience. Something no Call of Duty or Medal of Honor has captured before it!

Ok...that doesn't do much for me (on description) lol

...I love Battlefield just the way it is...what makes "Vietnam" all that it's hyped-up-to-be??

Vietnam is one of those untapped resources for video game material. Same with the Korean War, there are more than a few accounts of lone soldiers manning a .50 on a hill covering the retreat of soldiers. My Army unit had a few MOH recipients from the Korean War who killed hundreds of Enemy soldiers, and lived... My Favorite was a Colonel(who I actually met) who led a bayonet charge on a fortified hill, and took the hill. That dude was intense...

Just read through some of this thread.

It has a "war like" feeling, that is different than the original game. It is a nice change.

Nam is dirtier, less tactical, less precise, more barbaric, and more intense IMO. I like to alternate between the two.
